NRI Returns to City, Remarries, Flies Back Despite Look Out Notice
July 11, 2013

Despite a look out circular and non-bailable warrants issued against Rajneesh Pandhi in a dowry harassment case, the NRI not only stayed with his family in Chandigarh for over a month, but also got married to another woman and flew back to the UK.

Two cases against him have been lodged under criminal offense act and under Domestic Violence Act. Although a case has been registered against him, the UT police failed to arrest him during his one month stay in Chandigarh. The alleged confidently stayed at his home, got remarried and flew back to the UK.

Shocked, Pandhi's in-laws, already pursuing litigation against him, have filed a complaint with the Inspector General (IG) of the Chandigarh Police. A K Loomba, father of Pandhi's first wife, in his complaint, demanded that the passport of the accused and his parents be impounded immediately.
