Anganwadis to Receive Training from NGO Workers

Keeping in mind that early childhood age-span is the most crucial phase in human development, 'Sunehra Aaj', a non-profit organisation, initiated a project known as early childhood development and education. Under this initiative, the organisation aims at upgrading the existing Anganwadis.

Till now, Sunehra Aaj has adopted 24 Anganwadis of Mauli Jagran village in Chandigarh. It is believed that the teachers' attitudes and professional motivation can help holistic development of children.
During a press conference, Dr. Param Preet Ghuman, Senior Medical Officer of ESI, Kharar, spoke on strategies for parent and community involvement. President of Sunehra Aaj, Swarleen Kaur, also stressed on the need to treat children as individuals.
