European Film Festival Held at PGIMER
June 27, 2013

Celebrating European film festival, movies from Sweden and Poland were screened in the auditorium of Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) on June 26, 2013.

The Swedish movie, "Beyond", began the show. It was a poignant story, told with sincerity and humour, about a young woman’s dramatic childhood, her grief and her struggle to move on. "My Name Is Ki", a Polish movie, was a story of a young woman who refused to play the part of a tired single mother.

She wanted to live a fast-paced and colourful life, but the question remained whether her difficult relationships with men help her become mature enough to embrace love and responsibility for herself and her son. On June 27, 2013, films from Finland and Belgium will also be screened.
