Kangna Ranaut, who is playing a negative character in Hrithik Roshan-Priyanka Chopra starrer Krrish 3, has apparently refused to do the film. Insiders have informed that Kangna believes that Priyanka Chopra, the lead actress in the film, will overshadow her role.

It has further come to light that the role which was offered to Kanga was also offered to other prolific actresses of the industry like Katrina Kaif, Chitrangada and others.

During a press conference, Rakesh Roshan confirmed that Kangana feels insecure as Priyanka Chopra will also be working in it. But we wonder why all of sudden Kanga has turned down the offer. It is not for the first time when Kangan would have been working with Priyanka. In the movie Fashion, Kangana did play a role opposite Priyanka and the movie was also a great hit. Sometimes, it is really very difficult to read the minds of the actresses!

Akshay Kumar's highly-anticipated movie Boss, which hit the screens on October 16, has done excellent collection at the Indian Box Office on its opening day. The masala entertainer has smashed the first day collection record of Akki's Rowdy Rathore and become the biggest opener in the career of the Bollywood actor.

Boss, which is one of the most-hyped Bollywood movies of 2013, had good amount of advance ticket booking for its opening day. Having released in 2,750 theatres in domestic market, the movie registered 85% to 95% occupancy in both single screens and multiplexes. It has run to packed houses in many centres in the metros.

The film has collected approximately Rs 18.5 crores net at the Indian Box Office on the first day. The Akshay Kumar, Mithun Chakraborty and Shiv Pandit starrer has got thumbs up from film goers. A good word of mouth, which is being spread on social media, is expected to take its business upwards over the weekend.

Actresses from the film industry who perform the Karva Chauth puja every year include Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Hema Malini and Kajol among many others. In fact yesteryear actress Hema Malini had told the legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra that she will leave the shooting early as the fast takes a toll on her. Kareena has even asked Saif to keep his dates free on Karva Chauth as she wants to spend time with him. She is very enthusiastic about the whole affair as this will be the first time when she would be a part of this tradition.

The rumours of their affair started when they were shooting for the movie Tashan. While commenting on her relationship with Saif she said, "We were shooting for Tashan in Ladakh. My relationship with Shahid had just ended. Even though I had met Saif numerous times but they were just formal encounters. One day I saw him sitting near the swimming pool and getting a tan. That is the moment I realized he is so hot. After that we talked and he made me laugh a lot. Since that day we are the best of friends."

Superstar Shahrukh Khan was recently spotted in Cannes, recalling his glorious days when he represented Indian cinema with the movie Devdas in 2002. He says he hopes to bring more beautiful cinema from the country to the French Riviera. According to sources, SRK was in Cannes to attend a big fat destination wedding.

Tusshar tweeted, “In Cannes now for a big fat Indian destination wedding, both for the first time!"
